- previous serving and/or hospitality experience preferred
Job Duties
- serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
- serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
- prepare cold food items such as salad dressings, fruit trays, and fill soup cups
- follow sanitary regulations at all times
- provide platinum service with each dining experience
- set up meal trays, food carts, and set up the dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas prior and after meals are served
- assist in checking resident trays before distribution
- deliver food carts and trays to designated areas
- pour hot and cold beverages for residents
- assist residents with opening their containers and condiments as needed
- pay special attention to resident and guest needs while they are enjoying their dining experience
- prepare and deliver snacks to special events and parties hosted at the community
- bus tables during and after the meals
- stock food and supplies properly and clean storage areas as directed
- provide support services to other dining rooms during events and activities as needed
- attend trainings and employee meetings as directed by supervisor(s)
- clean and follow daily cleaning tasks
