  • previous serving and/or hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties

  • serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
  • serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
  • prepare cold food items such as salad dressings, fruit trays, and fill soup cups
  • follow sanitary regulations at all times
  • provide platinum service with each dining experience
  • set up meal trays, food carts, and set up the dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas prior and after meals are served
  • assist in checking resident trays before distribution
  • deliver food carts and trays to designated areas
  • pour hot and cold beverages for residents
  • assist residents with opening their containers and condiments as needed
  • pay special attention to resident and guest needs while they are enjoying their dining experience
  • prepare and deliver snacks to special events and parties hosted at the community
  • bus tables during and after the meals
  • stock food and supplies properly and clean storage areas as directed
  • provide support services to other dining rooms during events and activities as needed
  • attend trainings and employee meetings as directed by supervisor(s)
  • clean and follow daily cleaning tasks
