Job Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or healthcare preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Willingness to complete required education and training
Job Qualifications

- Experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of diet orders and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow departmental procedures
Job Duties
- Manage the patient menu process with 95 percent accuracy on menu audits
- Turn in menus on time
- Conduct 100 percent face-to-face visits with patients and/or family
- Attend meetings and review food-tech meeting information
- Complete 6-8 hours of departmental education annually
- Deliver and collect patient food trays per policies
- Document 100 percent of patients’ intake and fluid intake
- Maintain unit kitchens, floor stock, and refrigerators including inventory and cleanliness
- Keep manual kardexes updated with daily changes
- Tally food preparation items daily including late additions
