The Georgia National Guard's Air Dominance Center (ADC) located at the Savannah Combat Training Readiness Center is a premier military training facility dedicated to enhancing air, space, maritime, and cyberspace dominance capabilities. The ADC provides a cutting-edge environment for combat aircraft units from across the Department of Defense to participate in fully integrated, joint training exercises. These exercises occur quarterly, attracting dozens of aircraft and hundreds of military personnel who utilize Savannah's International Airport for temporary assignment. Job Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Negative pre-employment drug test
  • Participation in State Random Drug Testing Program post-hire
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to attain favorable security clearance and common access card within six months
  • Completion of Georgia criminal records check before employment
  • Completion of national criminal records check post-hire as part of federal background investigation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years of supervisory experience in a food service operation at the shift supervisor level or one year experience at Food Service Specialist 3 or equivalent
  • ServSafe Food Managers Certification preferred
  • Experience with inventory distribution and control preferred
  • Leadership skills to motivate team during high tempo periods and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to develop strategic and financial plans for budgeting and cash flow
  • Ability to read and interpret Air Force instructions, policies, and operating manuals

Job Duties

  • Managing facility, equipment, supplies, personnel, and subsistence inventory
  • Coordinating food operations requirements with military units before deployment
  • Interacting and supporting units during deployment by ordering and issuing subsistence, collecting paperwork, and direct redeployment of food service operations
  • Performing role of Building Manager by inspecting facility and equipment for sanitation and safety according to National Fire Safety Code, OSHA, and AFOSH guidelines
  • Tracking date of inception and repair frequency of facilities and equipment to suggest replacement when required
  • Other duties as assigned
