Job Description

The Georgia National Guard's Air Dominance Center (ADC), located at the Savannah Combat Training Readiness Center, is a premier facility dedicated to providing a comprehensive training environment for combat aircraft units across the Department of Defense. The ADC uniquely integrates multiple domains—including air, space, maritime, and cyberspace—allowing participants to train in joint concepts that emphasize air dominance across diverse operational scenarios. Job Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Negative pre-employment drug test
  • Maintenance of a valid driver's license
  • Successful Georgia criminal records check prior to employment
  • Successful national criminal records check post-hire as part of federal background investigation
  • Must attain a favorable security clearance and common access card within six months of employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Three years supervisory experience in a food service operation at the level of a shift supervisor
  • Experience managing institutional food service operations such as at a military facility, hospital, or school
  • ServSafe Food Managers Certification
  • Experience with inventory distribution and control
  • Leadership skills to motivate teams and resolve conflicts during high tempo periods
  • Ability to develop strategic and financial plans to forecast budgeting and cash flow
  • Ability to read and interpret documents including Air Force instructions, policies, and manuals

Job Duties

  • Managing facility, equipment, supplies, personnel, and subsistence inventory
  • Coordinating food operations requirements with military units before deploying to the CRTC for training
  • Interacting and supporting units during deployment by ordering/issuing subsistence, collecting paperwork, and direct redeployment of food service operations
  • Performing role of Building Manager, inspecting facility and equipment for proper sanitation and safety according to National Fire Safety Code, OSHA, and AFOSH guidelines
  • Tracking date of inception and repair frequency of facilities and equipment to suggest replacement when required
  • Other duties as assigned
