Job Description

The Georgia National Guard's Air Dominance Center (ADC), located at the Savannah Combat Training Readiness Center, is a premier military training establishment focused on delivering integrated combat training to Department of Defense air combat units. The ADC provides a unique environment where participants from various domains including air, space, maritime, and cyberspace collaborate in large-scale, joint training exercises. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • three years of supervisory experience in a food service operation at the level of a shift supervisor or one year of experience at the lower level Food Service Specialist 3 (FFT012) or equivalent position
  • ServSafe Food Managers Certification preferred
  • experience with inventory distribution and control
  • leadership skills to motivate team and resolve conflicts
  • ability to develop strategic and financial plans for budgeting and cash flow
  • ability to read and interpret Air Force instructions, policies, and manuals

Job Duties

  • Managing facility, equipment, supplies, personnel, and subsistence inventory
  • coordinating food operations requirements with military units before deploying to the CRTC for training
  • interacting and supporting units during deployment by ordering, issuing subsistence, collecting paperwork, and direct redeployment of food service operations
  • performing role of Building Manager including inspection for sanitation and safety per OSHA, AFOSH, and National Fire Safety Code
  • tracking facility and equipment maintenance and suggesting replacements
  • ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations
  • other duties as assigned
