Job Requirements

  • 5 years or more of combined food service management experience
  • 3 years management of cafeteria or multi-entree operations serving breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must have Real ID driver's license
  • Ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • SERV Safe Manager Certification required

  • Customer service skills
  • Strong personnel management background demonstrated by experience
  • Ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be able to pass military background check to secure Common Access Card
  • SERV Safe Manager Certification
  • Experience managing cafeteria or multi-entree operations serving multiple meals daily

Job Duties

  • Oversee cooks are following cleaning and sanitation duties as set out by the Army
  • Oversee the proper use of recipe cards and production records
  • Ensure production, performance, procedures and finished products meet quality and sanitation standards
  • Perform hands-on duties such as cooking and cleaning as needed
  • Manage daily operations of the dining facility including breakfast, lunch and dinner service
  • Schedule and supervise kitchen staff shifts
  • Maintain compliance with military food service regulations
