Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or culinary arts preferred
- Three to five years of food service operation experience
- Sanitation certified (ServSafe) or ability to obtain within 30 days
- High volume production and catering experience
- Previous experience in menu development
- Knowledge of budgets, food and labor costs and inventory control
- Strong organizational, leadership, coaching and training skills
- Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and work demands
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet community needs

Job Duties
- Create and follow written recipes and prepare high-quality, delicious, and nutritious menu options
- Develop menus and special meals for residents
- Maintain dietary staffing and staff development including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen including personnel and cooking stations
- Ensure costs are allocated to the appropriate GL codes and kitchen budget is maintained
- Oversee vendor relationships and inventory control
- Address work-related issues and disciplinary actions under supervision
