Job Requirements

  • valid oklahoma driver license possessed for at least 6 months
  • defensive driving certificate with tulsa county within 6 months of hire
  • remote pilot certificate or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
  • graduation from accredited college or university with associates of arts degree or related field
  • over three years full-time paid employment in public relations journalism marketing or related field
  • ability to perform safety-sensitive job functions and pass drug and alcohol testing
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • ability to write reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before groups
  • ability to add subtract multiply and divide
  • ability to compute rate ratio and percentage
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • ability to handle physical demands including moving up to 50 pounds and possessing required vision abilities

Job Qualifications

  • graduation from an accredited college or university with an associates of arts degree or related field
  • over three years full-time paid employment in public relations journalism marketing or relative field
  • knowledge of video production social media strategies and public relations
  • proficiency with adobe creative suite adobe acrobat content management software and google apps
  • strong written verbal and collaborative communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively on digital media projects
  • ability to plan produce and execute video content and social media campaigns
  • ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • ability to analyze data and feedback to improve content and audience engagement
  • ability to interpret instructions and adapt to challenges

Job Duties

  • produce and edit videos including story development scripting filming and proofing
  • create engaging content for social media and digital channels and coordinate posting of content
  • respond to media inquiries
  • assist with new digital initiatives and other communications programs across multiple channels
  • assist with the production inside county podcast studio
  • perform other duties as assigned
