Job Requirements
- United States citizenship
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Bachelor’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Completion of ACEND accredited experiential or supervised practice program
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Ability to comply with federal employment and healthcare regulatory standards
- Physical ability to participate in pre-employment examination or evaluation

Job Duties
- Conduct nutrition assessments for patients with varying acuity using the Nutrition Care Process
- Develop and implement evidence-based, patient-centered nutrition intervention plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate nutritional care into overall patient treatment
- Document clinical activities accurately and maintain patient records using approved systems
- Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and other accrediting agency standards
- Work with Food Operations to enhance veterans' dining experience and ensure food satisfaction
- Utilize virtual technology to deliver nutrition care and conduct performance improvement data collection
