Job Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credential by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- state dietetics license where applicable
- ability to perform inpatient and outpatient clinical nutrition duties
- compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
- experience in hospital dietetic practice preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and nutrition-related software
- strong communication and mentoring skills
Job Qualifications
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, where required
- minimum one year of hospital experience preferred
- proficient with Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software
Job Duties
- Provide medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for patients
- follow guidelines within the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures
- comply with federal, state, and accrediting agency standards while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations and patient rights
- train and mentor patient services staff and interns
- participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
