Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prefer food service experience in hospital, healthcare or hospitality setting
  • Valid drivers license preferred
  • Ability to perform heavy physical workload including pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, pull, push, kneel and stop throughout shift
  • Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
  • Willingness to work in an environment exposed to chemical dependent and dual diagnosis patients
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and infection control practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Food service experience preferred, especially in hospital, healthcare, or hospitality settings
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Familiarity with equipment usage and cleaning products
  • Understanding of safety and infection control practices
  • Ability to work under supervision of Food Service Coordinator

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room area
  • Assume dishwashing and pot washing responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries
  • Maintain stock in storage and dining room areas
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Follow safety and infection control practices
  • Assist with other food service tasks as assigned
