Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in food service or dietary-related roles preferred
  • Proficient in English communication
  • Ability to handle fast-paced call center environment
  • Typing speed of 35-45 words per minute
  • Ability to use web-based software and telephone headset effectively
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adherence to safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred
  • Experience in food service, as a dietary clerk, or in a related field preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Comfort with using technology including web-based software, keyboard, and telephone headset
  • Typical typing speed of 35-45 words per minute
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change

Job Duties

  • Function comfortably in a fast-paced, performance-based call center environment
  • Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
  • Adapt to customer needs
  • Answer phones, take menu orders, and respond to patient inquiries regarding meal and nutritional needs
  • Use software to record patient meal orders accurately
  • Maintain knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure accurate meal processing
  • Work closely with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team to ensure accurate patient nutrition
