Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Experience in food service or dietary-related roles preferred
- Proficient in English communication
- Ability to handle fast-paced call center environment
- Typing speed of 35-45 words per minute
- Ability to use web-based software and telephone headset effectively
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adherence to safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred
- Experience in food service, as a dietary clerk, or in a related field preferred
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Comfort with using technology including web-based software, keyboard, and telephone headset
- Typical typing speed of 35-45 words per minute
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
Job Duties
- Function comfortably in a fast-paced, performance-based call center environment
- Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
- Adapt to customer needs
- Answer phones, take menu orders, and respond to patient inquiries regarding meal and nutritional needs
- Use software to record patient meal orders accurately
- Maintain knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure accurate meal processing
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team to ensure accurate patient nutrition
