Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred
experience in food service, as a dietary clerk, or related field preferred
ability to communicate fluently in English
ability to stay calm under pressure
comfort using technology including web-based software and telephone systems
typical typing speed of 35 - 45 words per minute
flexible and adaptable to change

Job Duties

function comfortably in a fast-paced, performance-based call center environment
maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
adapt to customer needs
answer phones, take menu orders, and appropriately direct calls from patients regarding meal or nutritional needs
use software to record patient orders
maintain general knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure meal orders are processed accurately
work closely with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team to ensure accurate patient nutrition
