Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
- Experience in food service or dietary setting preferred
- Proficiency in English communication
- Ability to maintain calm under pressure
- Comfortable with technology and typing
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred
- Experience in food service, dietary clerk, or related field preferred
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Bilingual or multilingual a plus
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Comfortable using technology including web-based software, keyboard, and telephone headset
- Typical typing speed of 35 - 45 wpm
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change
Job Duties
- Function comfortably in a fast-paced, performance-based call center environment
- Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor
- Adapt to customer needs
- Answer phones, take menu orders, answer questions or direct calls related to patient meal or nutritional needs
- Use software to record patient orders
- Maintain general knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure meal orders are accurate
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team
- Observe client confidentiality and adhere to safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain compliance with ARAMARK's standards and Business Conduct Policy
- Maintain records and reports for regulatory compliance
