Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or related field preferred
- ability to communicate fluently in English
- proficiency in using web-based software and call center technology
- ability to remain calm under pressure
- willingness to adapt to changing work demands
- ability to maintain confidentiality and follow safety and sanitation standards
- legal eligibility to work
- ability to type at 35-45 wpm
Job Qualifications
- previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred
- experience in food service, dietary clerk, or related field preferred
- ability to communicate fluently in English
- bilingual or multilingual a plus
- ability to stay calm under pressure
- comfort with technology including web-based software, keyboard, and telephone headset
- typical typing speed of 35-45 wpm
- flexibility and adaptability to change
Job Duties
- function comfortably in a fast-paced call center environment where every call is recorded and assessed
- maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
- adapt to customer needs
- answer phones, take menu orders, answer questions or direct calls related to meal or nutritional needs
- use software to record patient orders
- maintain general knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure accurate meal processing
- work closely with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team to ensure patient nutrition
- maintain privacy, safety, and dignity by observing client confidentiality and safety standards
- maintain compliance with Aramark's standards of operation and business conduct policy
- keep records and reports for compliance with regulations
