Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or call center environment preferred
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred
- Proficient in using computers and telephone systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards
- Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
- Experience in food service, dietary clerk, or related field preferred
- Fluent in English, bilingual or multilingual a plus
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Comfortable using technology including web-based software, keyboard, and telephone headset
- Typical typing speed of 35 to 45 wpm
- Flexible and adaptable to change
Job Duties
- Function comfortably in a fast-paced call center environment where every call is recorded and assessed
- Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
- Adapt to customer needs effectively
- Answer phones and take menu orders related to patient meals
- Appropriately direct calls regarding patient nutritional needs
- Use software to record patient orders accurately
- Maintain general knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure precise meal processing
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and food and nutrition team for accurate patient nutrition
- Maintain privacy, safety, and dignity of customers by observing client confidentiality and adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Comply with Aramark standards of operation and business conduct policies
- Maintain records and reports to comply with local, state, and federal regulations
