Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or call center environment preferred
  • Knowledge or experience in food service or dietary services preferred
  • Fluent communication skills in English
  • Ability to use computer software and telephone headset throughout the shift
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing job duties and schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred
  • Experience in food service, as a dietary clerk, or in a related field preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Bilingual or multilingual a plus
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Comfortable using technology including web-based software, keyboard, and telephone headset
  • Typical typing speed of 35-45 wpm
  • Flexible and adaptable to change

Job Duties

  • Function comfortably in a fast-paced, performance-based call center environment
  • Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
  • Adapt to customer needs
  • Handle patient customer service functions including answering phones, taking menu orders, and directing calls appropriately
  • Use software to record patient orders
  • Maintain general knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure accurate meal processing
  • Work closely with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team to ensure accurate patient nutrition
  • Maintain privacy, safety, and dignity of each customer by observing confidentiality and safety standards
  • Adhere to Aramark's standards of operation and business conduct policy
  • Maintain all records and reports for compliance with regulations
