Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Completion of Food Handler's course or ServSafe certification required within 30 days of hire
  • At least one year recent dietary or culinary experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to follow food safety guidelines and procedures
  • Capability to work flexible shifts covering multiple roles
  • Physical ability to meet demanding lifting and standing requirements
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation

Job Duties

  • Provide coverage for various roles within the Nutrition Services department as needed
  • Prepare and serve food accurately and timely
  • Clean and stock assigned work areas maintaining hygiene standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service to patients, employees, and visitors
  • Ensure compliance with food safety practices and procedures
  • Assist in monitoring food quality and report any discrepancies
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure service continuity
