Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Food Handler's course or ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the Nutrition Services department
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food Handler's course or ServSafe certification required within 30 days of hire
- One year recent dietary or culinary experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
- Understanding of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good time management and multitasking skills
Job Duties
- Seamlessly transition between various Nutrition Services roles to cover staffing gaps
- Prepare and serve food according to department standards
- Clean and stock assigned work areas efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and employees
- Follow food safety practices to prevent foodborne illnesses
- Operate food service equipment safely and maintain cleanliness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth department operations
