Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and dietary plans
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform kitchen tasks including lifting and bending

Job Duties
- Prepare meals according to standardized recipes in a safe and sanitary manner
- Manage ingredients by suggesting creative ways to utilize leftovers and efficiently control overstock
- Ensure quality control by accurately preparing, portioning, and serving meals based on recipes and dietary plans
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and work areas following health standards
- Perform physical tasks including safely lifting, bending, and twisting during food preparation
- Follow menus and recipes consistently to produce high-quality meals
- Work collaboratively in a team and step into leadership roles when needed
