Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals according to standardized recipes in a safe and sanitary manner
  • Manage ingredients by suggesting creative ways to utilize leftovers and efficiently handle overstock
  • Ensure quality control by accurately preparing, portioning, and serving meals based on recipes and dietary plans
  • Maintain cleanliness by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and work areas according to health standards
  • Perform physical tasks such as safely lifting, bending, and twisting as required during food preparation
  • Follow menus and recipes consistently to produce high-quality meals
  • Work well in a team and adapt to changing tasks and kitchen needs
