Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant cooking experience in a healthcare or institutional setting preferred
- Ability to follow menus and recipes consistently
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Physical ability to perform food preparation tasks including lifting and bending
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a dietary or institutional cook preferred
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and menus accurately
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities

Job Duties
- Prepare meals according to standardized recipes in a safe and sanitary manner
- Manage ingredients and suggest creative ways to utilize leftovers and overstock
- Ensure quality control by accurately preparing, portioning, and serving meals based on recipes and dietary plans
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and work areas following health standards
- Perform physical tasks including safely lifting, bending, and twisting during food preparation
- Adapt easily to changing tasks and kitchen needs
- Work well in a team and step into a leadership role when needed
