Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior dietary experience in LTC, SNF, AL, or MC setting highly preferred
  • One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation highly preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Professional image in appearance and behavior
  • Passion for working with seniors
  • Flexible and energetic personality

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve meals according to the menu
  • Monitor methods of food handling, preparation, and meal service
  • Ensure equipment cleaning and sanitation
  • Provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents
  • Comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations
  • Maintain quality food service and nutrition care
  • Collaborate with dietary team to meet residents' needs
