Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • food handler certification preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • availability to work part-time shifts

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a dietary cook or similar culinary role preferred
  • knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and dietary guidelines

  • good communication and teamwork abilities
  • ability to adapt to changing tasks and kitchen environments

Job Duties

  • prepare meals according to standardized recipes in a safe and sanitary manner
  • suggest creative ways to utilize leftovers and manage overstock efficiently
  • accurately prepare, portion, and serve meals based on recipes and dietary plans
  • clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas according to health standards
  • safely lift, bend, and twist as needed during food preparation
  • follow menus and recipes to consistently produce high-quality meals
  • ensure meals are prepared and served on time
