Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior dietary experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or medical care setting highly preferred
- One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation highly preferred
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Passion for working with seniors
- Energetic and flexible personality

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve meals according to the menu
- Monitor methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning
- Provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local food service regulations
- Collaborate with dietary staff to meet residents' nutritional needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
