Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of cooking experience including short order and quantity cooking
  • possess Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • effective oral and written communication skills
  • ability to learn new food preparation techniques
  • knowledge of special dietary requirements
  • ability to work effectively in a team
  • ability to handle conflict or customer complaints

  • adherence to all food and equipment safety procedures

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff
  • maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures
  • prepare and present high-quality food items
  • order, receive, and rotate stock with the Food Service Director
  • read and follow recipes to ensure consistency
  • prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner as assigned
  • assist with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations
