Job Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Must be knowledgeable of food service laws regulations and guidelines governing
  • Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with residents physicians visitors and all facility personnel
  • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent passionate innovative care

Job Duties

  • Greeting of guests to the building providing explanation of our menu and ordering process for our daily specials as well as our Always Available Menu
  • Meeting and talking with guests on a daily basis and taking meal orders
  • Acquiring resident and guest preferences and collaborating with the RDN or Exec Chef on input in the Nutrition Management program
  • Printing of meal production sheet for each meal and meal tickets
  • Updating of the daily menu for the dining rooms
  • Assist with the serving of meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance and prepare and serve food and snacks in accordance with established portion control procedures sanitary regulations and established policies and procedures
