Magnolia Creek Treatment Center is a specialized healthcare facility dedicated to the treatment and recovery of women struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Job Requirements

  • valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • minimum two years experience in facility dietary setting preferred
  • ServSafe certification
  • ability to move up to 50 pounds
  • able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to handle kitchen appliances safely
  • ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and vendors

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • previous food preparation experience
  • basic knowledge of kitchen safety and food handling
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • demonstrated organizational skills
  • strong problem solving and analytical abilities
  • commitment to client welfare and organizational mission

Job Duties

  • prepares lunches, dinners, and occasional desserts for clients on weekends
  • cooks and prepares meals for up to 40 people
  • communicates with Nutrition Director and Chef staff regarding allergies and dietary modifications
  • maintains ServSafe certification
  • maintains a clean and orderly kitchen including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
  • ensures proper storage of food and other items
  • maintains inventory and orders food as needed
  • follows health and safety guidelines for food storage and preparation
  • ensures cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas
  • reports unsafe or unhealthy conditions in the work area
  • adheres to facility's Code of Ethics and corporate compliance
  • assists in maintaining kitchen appliances
  • participates in educational opportunities related to mission and population
  • provides high level of customer service
  • completes other duties as assigned
