Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare environment preferred
- ability to communicate effectively
- courteous and friendly demeanor
- able to work efficiently under pressure
- stamina to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
- capability to interact respectfully with residents and staff
- ability to follow written and verbal directions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare environment preferred

- able to work in a fast-paced environment
- able to stand for 8 hours or longer
- able to lift, push, and pull food carts and other food utility supplies up to 50lbs
- ability to deal with residents and staff in a tactful, diplomatic and respectful manner
- ability to follow all written and verbal instructions
Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods
- serve and deliver food to residents as required
- maintain cleanliness of dining areas as assigned
- properly store food utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
- transport/deliver food/beverage items to assigned residents
- assist Lead Porter or other staff in lifting or transporting large utilities within the kitchen area
- load and operate dishwasher machine
- ensure proper temperature, chemical supplies, and clean water levels are maintained for proper sanitation
