Job Requirements
- minimum of sixteen (16) years of age (must provide appropriate work documentation)
- ability to lift fifty (50) pounds and move lifted items three (3) to four (4) feet
- ability to stand for extended periods of time and bend, stoop and reach frequently
- ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently
Job Qualifications

- ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently
- knowledge of kitchen safety practices and accident prevention
- knowledge of basic sanitation, food preparation, and the maintenance of kitchen and food service areas
- high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
Job Duties
- work with coworkers in a team environment that promotes positive service qualities and respect of residents
- assists coworkers in preparation of food in accordance with directions and standards
- assists in tray assembly according to dietary requirements
- serves food and drinks to residents
- assists residents with food consumption when needed
- removes dirty dishes from dining room and cleans tables/areas
- performs cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning surfaces, and vacuuming to maintain safe and sanitary work area
