Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Some experience in dietary services preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Commitment to resident privacy and confidentiality
- Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Understanding of safe dietary procedures and the geriatric community
- Willingness to work in the best interest of residents and facility
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other departments
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Some dietary experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and portion food items following recipes and menus
- Assist with meal setup and delivery
- Serve in the dining room
- Put away stock on delivery days
- Wash and store pots, pans, dishes, and utensils
- Sweep and mop floors
- Maintain confidentiality of residents and protect their privacy
- Ensure dietary work areas are clean and sanitary
- Perform other duties as assigned
