Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • basic reading and writing skills
  • ability to speak english in an understandable manner
  • previous experience in food service preferred
  • knowledge and experience in working with elderly and previous dementia experience preferred
  • food service sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • previous food service experience preferred
  • experience working with elderly and dementia patients preferred

Job Duties

  • assist executive chef and cook with meal preparation
  • maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
  • deliver meals to residents
  • ensure compliance with food sanitation standards
  • provide sensitive and professional service to elderly residents
  • support dietary needs of residents including those with dementia
  • follow all safety and health regulations
