Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak english in an understandable manner
- previous experience in food service preferred
- knowledge and experience in working with elderly and previous dementia experience preferred
- food service sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- assist executive chef and cook with meal preparation
- maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
- deliver meals to residents
- ensure compliance with food sanitation standards
- provide sensitive and professional service to elderly residents
- support dietary needs of residents including those with dementia
- follow all safety and health regulations
