Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English at an 8th-grade level
  • High school graduate preferred
  • Serve Safe certification preferred
  • Food service experience in a healthcare facility preferred
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend patient meal ticket information
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina for frequent movement and standing
  • Basic math skills

Job Duties

  • Follows proper hygiene and safety protocols
  • Maintains a sanitary and safe work environment
  • Provides courteous customer service and communicates effectively
  • Prepares and delivers food trays accurately and efficiently
  • Operates dishwashing equipment and maintains cleanliness
  • Assists with food production, cafeteria service, and cashiering
  • Completes required training and adheres to departmental standards
