Job Requirements
- Ability to perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables
- Ability to weigh and measure ingredients accurately
- Must be able to carry pans, kettles and trays in accordance with safety standards
- Knowledge of food storage, wrapping, dating and rotation procedures
- Ability to clean work areas, equipment and utensils thoroughly
- Ability to serve customers in a courteous, efficient manner
- Must comply with sanitation and safety requirements
- Availability for full-time or part-time work
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or kitchen work beneficial
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods and carrying heavy items
Job Duties
- Prepares fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients
- Carries pans, kettles and trays of food safely between workstations and storage areas
- Stores food following safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- Utilizes approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality and portion control
- Serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner following service protocols
- Resolves customer concerns and communicates with supervisors
- Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, cash control, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
