Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- able to operate kitchen equipment relating to preparing meals and dish washing
- working knowledge of therapeutic diets and kitchen sanitation procedures preferred
- clear verbal communication skills
- organizational skills and confidentiality
- manual dexterity
- ability to move arms freely
- two years experience in a health care institution preferred

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize eating and serving utensils
- clean and sanitize patient food carts and pushcarts
- clean and sanitize dish room including inside and outside of dishwashers
- replenish condiments and dairy products on patient tray line and cafeteria
- complete sanitation assignments throughout the department
- assist Lead Cook with maintaining sanitation standards
- assist with delivery of patient food carts and trays
- complete trash removal duties including cleaning and sanitizing all trash receptacles
