Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • Barista or food service experience
  • Minimum of one year of experience
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts including every other weekend
  • Ability to follow food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Good communication skills to interact with patients over the phone
  • Ability to assist in kitchen maintenance and general cleaning

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • Barista or food service experience
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience
  • Two to four years of experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete daily responsibilities including meal assembly, cold food preparation, utility and dish room functions, and preparing coffee and other drinks in the coffee shop
  • Prepare meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
  • Serve meals ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed
  • Stay current on individual procedures and protocols for the facility including state-specified rules and regulations
  • Set up and take down dining areas and assist with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
  • Assist with educational programs on nutrition
  • Talk to patients on the phone and receive their meal order
