Job Requirements
- Texas Food Handler Certificate
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in commercial kitchen preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Ability to follow food safety and hygiene protocols
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred
- Texas Food Handler Certificate required
- Knowledge of universal precautions in food handling
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisory staff

Job Duties
- Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
- Preparing and serving beverages
- Setting up and passing trays for meal service
- Stocking snack cart
- Bussing of tables and trays
- Cleaning the kitchen work area
- Dishwashing
- Follow proper handwashing guidelines
- Additional special projects or tasks assigned by the Certified Dietary Manager or Executive Director
