Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist with meal service by assembling trays and delivering meal carts to nursing or dining areas
  • Maintain cleanliness by disposing of refuse according to departmental policies and procedures
  • Manage supplies by delivering and rotating food and floor supplies according to first in, first out standards
  • Prepare foods by following menus and standardized recipes to prepare meals safely and efficiently
  • Serve meals by portioning and serving meals as directed by recipes and spreadsheet instructions
  • Sanitize equipment by washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment properly
  • Perform dishwashing duties by cleaning pots, pans, dishware, and utensils promptly and thoroughly to ensure smooth kitchen operations
