Job Requirements
- Must be over 18 years old
- Washington State Food Handler Card required
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Experience washing dishes in a commercial kitchen or related experience preferred
- Must be able to handle moderate physical exertion and frequent exposure to cleaning agents and heat
Job Qualifications
- Must be over 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Washington State Food Handler Card required
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Experience washing dishes in a commercial kitchen or related experience preferred
- Work requires moderate physical exertion at least 66% of the time
- Work requires frequent exposure to cleaning agents and extreme heat
Job Duties
- Ensure all dishware are clean and sanitized
- Stock all sanitized dishware for use in designated areas
- Monitor and document dish machine temperatures in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dish room and related dish collection areas
- Perform trash removal, recycling, and floor maintenance
- Assist in delivering and retrieving patient food carts to patient floors
- Help assemble patient food trays
- Perform other duties as assigned
