Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dietary aide or food service role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and meal plans

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and resident satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Assist with meal service by assembling trays and delivering meal carts to nursing or dining areas
  • Maintain cleanliness by disposing of refuse following departmental policies and procedures
  • Manage supplies by delivering and rotating food and floor supplies according to standards (first in, first out)
  • Prepare foods by following menu and standardized recipes to ensure meals are prepared safely and efficiently
  • Serve meals by portioning and serving as directed by recipes and spreadsheet instructions
  • Sanitize equipment by washing, sanitizing, and properly storing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
