Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or healthcare nutrition preferred

- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- assist in the production and distribution of food including juices, salads, desserts, coffee, sandwiches, and special items
- follow all safety and sanitary procedures including use of protective equipment
- operate large kitchen equipment such as food processors, microwaves, blenders, and institutional dishwashers
- read and comprehend dietary information and follow recipes
- clean and sanitize kitchen and dishwashing areas
- maintain organization and complete duties according to policies
- utilize computer systems to record food and fluid intake
- report special requests of residents and incidents of abuse or neglect to management
