Job Requirements
- Education tenth grade or above desirable
- ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred or other food safety certification as required in state or county
- Experience in food service desired

Job Duties
- Prepares and/or pre-portions food such as beverages, salads, desserts, and other items for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu for meals and snacks, serves resident meals and snacks accurately in accordance with the planned menu, delivers meals to designated areas timely, clears trays and participates in cleaning routines, maintains proper temperature of food during preparation and service and records temperatures, labels, dates, and stores food properly, ensures refrigerator/freezer temperatures are within the appropriate range and reports discrepancies
