Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent
Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients
Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus
Comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol
Ability to distinguish all primary colors
Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director including hemodialysis theory and practice within 8 weeks of hire
CPR certification within 90 days of hire or as required by the state
Patient Care Technician certification through a state or national program within 18 months of hire and maintained in good standing

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent
Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients
Previous experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus
Ability to mix acids and bicarbonate according to protocol
Ability to distinguish all primary colors
Successful completion of USRC training program and competency demonstration
CPR certification within 90 days of hire
Patient Care Technician certification obtained within 18 months of hire

Job Duties

Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment to patients
Gather patient statistics before and after treatment
Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatments
Collect blood samples as ordered by physicians
Prepare hemodialysis machines and conduct safety checks
Clean and disinfect dialysis machines after use
Adhere to safety protocols and participate in staff meetings and continuing education
