Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients
- Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus
- Comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director including hemodialysis theory and practice within 8 weeks of hire
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire or as required by the state
- Patient Care Technician certification through a state or national program within 18 months of hire and maintained in good standing
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus

- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Patient Care Technician certification obtained within 18 months of hire
Job Duties
- Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment to patients
- Gather patient statistics before and after treatment
- Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatments
- Collect blood samples as ordered by physicians
- Prepare hemodialysis machines and conduct safety checks
- Clean and disinfect dialysis machines after use
- Adhere to safety protocols and participate in staff meetings and continuing education
