Job Requirements

  • United States citizenship
  • Certification in radiologic technology by the ARRT
  • Completion of an accredited 24-month post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program or equivalent
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Availability to perform intraoperative fluoroscopy and portable radiography
  • Physical ability to perform occupational duties
  • Two years of operating room experience preferred
  • Compliance with VA qualification standards
  • Knowledge of radiation protection and patient safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • United States citizenship
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography
  • Completion of a full-time diagnostic radiologic technology program of at least 24 months
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of radiographic techniques and patient safety procedures
  • Familiarity with digital imaging systems and PACS
  • Experience in operating room radiologic procedures preferred
  • Ability to adjust image quality and operate CR and digital imaging devices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Perform intraoperative fluoroscopy during surgical procedures
  • Operate portable radiography equipment as needed
  • Ensure adherence to patient safety and radiation protection standards
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to provide timely and accurate imaging support
  • Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment according to established protocols
  • Monitor and report patients' physiological changes during imaging
  • Keep detailed records of imaging procedures and outcomes
