Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in retail or food service
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think critically and communicate effectively
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting merchandise
- Knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles preferred

Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service as defined by Di Bruno Bros. within the scope of Company policy
- Assist with the overall direction, coordination, evaluation and financial results of the department
- Assist to manage staff in a manner consistent with Di Bruno Bros. Servant Leadership Philosophy
- Assist to establish performance goals, allocate resources and assess policies for department Associates
- Assist to conduct employment interviews, performance appraisals and administer rewards and discipline as necessary
- Assist to coach and motivate Associates to foster ongoing development and help them reach their potential
- Ensure compliance of Associates with established policies, procedures and practices
- Assist to monitor department budget and payroll including COG, labor and expenses, taking action when necessary to meet all sales and profitability goals
- Oversee quality standards
- assist in conducting continuous inspections and testing of all products to ensure that Company standards are met
- Assist to ensure that all federal, state, local and Company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, sanitation and weights and measures are met
- Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements
- Maintain the highest level of standards in product display and preparation
- Sell and serve Coffee Bar foods
- Initiate suggestive selling and sampling of products
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise
- Participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices
- Communicate any customer special requests to management
- Communicate with coworkers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
