The Barista/Coffee Bar Associate plays a crucial role within Di Bruno Bros.' Operations Department by providing exceptional customer service and crafting specialty coffee and tea beverages that align with the company’s high standards. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position involves engaging with customers, taking orders, preparing drinks with precision, and maintaining cleanliness and safety within the coffee bar area. Job Qualifications
- One year of barista experience preferred but we love to train those passionate about coffee and customer service
- availability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business
- a willingness to learn about our brand and our roasters
- an enthusiasm to communicate with customers and fellow Associates about current offerings and drink options
- ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and POS register system
- can multi-task and work well under the pressure of a busy coffee bar
- ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
- can move, carry or handle merchandise throughout the store

Job Duties
- Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages
- speak and interact with both new and regular customers
- take and fulfill coffee bar orders for customer
- complete sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases, and accepting cash or credit card payments from customers
- resolve customer issues and answer questions
- maintain a clean and sanitized work station
- follow health and safety guidelines
- adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
- be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
- contribute to a positive team environment
