Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC certificate
- Two years of customer service experience in a call center environment
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products
- Ability to read and interpret complex regulations
- Experience with high-volume data entry
- Must reside in Colorado for telecommuting days
- Ability to handle high call volumes
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC certificate
- Two years of customer service experience in a call center environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to read, understand, interpret, and apply complex regulations
- Experience with high-volume data entry
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and English preferred but not required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive customer service in a contact center environment by responding to complex customer requests on DHS programs and services
- Assist customers with inquiries or problems by determining their needs and the urgency of issues
- Create or access cases in the CRM module of PeopleSoft to enter and update information on customer inquiries or problems
- Conduct research using the Colorado Benefits Management System to provide accurate answers to customer inquiries
- Provide clear and complete information explaining regulations, policies, and procedures based on DHS knowledge and systems
- Act as a liaison between customers and DHS staff by following up on requests or complaints and resolving service issues
- Observe and comply with departmental policies, customer service quality standards, and compliance guidelines
