Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- no high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous floor care or janitorial experience preferred, especially in airport or commercial settings
- ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and extractors
- sweep, mop, strip, wax, and polish various types of flooring including tile, carpet, and concrete
- perform routine and deep cleaning of high-traffic areas including terminals, hangars, and restrooms
- follow safety procedures and use appropriate signage to prevent accidents
- maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs
- replenish supplies and ensure storage areas are clean and organized
- work collaboratively with custodial and maintenance teams
- always adhere to airport security and safety protocols
