Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication skills
- proficiency with dispatch software
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of local geographic area and traffic patterns
- problem-solving skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- additional education or training in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus
- previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination preferred
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- proficiency in using dispatch software and other computer applications
- ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- knowledge of local geographic area and traffic patterns
- strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
Job Duties
- Schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers for airline catering deliveries according to customer specifications and operational requirements
- monitor and track the status of dispatched vehicles to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to schedules
- communicate effectively with drivers, airline clients, and internal departments to resolve any issues or delays promptly
- maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery schedules, and service reports
- coordinate with the operations team to optimize routing and delivery efficiency
- ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations
- handle emergency situations and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in flight schedules or other operational disruptions
- provide excellent customer service to airline clients, addressing any concerns or special requests
