Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of 3-5 years in nonprofit development or fundraising
- proficiency with fundraising databases and software
- demonstrated success in donor solicitation and major gifts management
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends

- ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- experience in nonprofit fundraising and development
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- proven ability to cultivate and steward donor relationships
- experience with donor databases and fundraising management systems
- strong organizational skills
- experience with event planning and community engagement
- familiarity with grant management and fundraising
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
- leadership experience supervising teams
- knowledge of Treasure Valley community preferred
Job Duties
- Support and advance TVHfH's mission, values, and strategic direction
- develop and implement fundraising strategies including one-, five-, and long-term goals
- cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, foundations, government partners, businesses, and community stakeholders
- engage prospective donors through meetings, communications, and relationship-building
- grow and manage a major gifts program including donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
- lead the annual fund program including direct mail and fundraising campaigns
- plan and oversee major fundraising initiatives and campaigns
- build and strengthen planned giving programs focusing on deferred gifts
- partner with Development & Communications Coordinator on donor communications
- oversee prospect research and donor tracking systems including databases
- serve as a visible ambassador for TVHfH within the community
- oversee event planning and execution including sponsorship development, donation acquisition, vendor coordination, ticket and table sales, and logistics for the annual Evening in the Garden gala
- collaborate with gala committee and Board of Directors on event planning
- support events such as home dedications, groundbreakings, and community gatherings
- strengthen and grow emerging programs including Women's Build and Habitat Youth & Kids initiatives
- supervise Development team members including Development & Communications Coordinator, Community Outreach Coordinator, and contract grant writer
- manage internship programs and national service roles including partnerships with schools, AmeriCorps, and VISTA
- collaborate with CEO for performance evaluations
